Birmingham — A weekend tinkering session that began with a clogged patio and an empty wallet has turned into one of the most talked-about home gadgets in the UK this spring. First Test on the Driveway — and the Whole Street Noticed

"I hooked the prototype up on a Saturday morning and started on the worst patch of the drive," David says. "Twenty minutes later I was standing in front of clean concrete I hadn't seen in five years."

What happened next caught him completely off guard.

"Two neighbours walked over and asked which model of pressure washer I'd bought. When I held up the little nozzle and said 'just this', they thought I was joking."

Within a week, half the street had asked for one.
